FAQs – Mask & CPAP Machine Prescription Policy – Shipping Prices & Policies


Products:  All of our CPAP masks have a 30 day manufacturers’ satisfaction guarantee.  


Can I Return Opened Equipment?
Due to FDA regulations regarding cross contamination and the resale of medical supplies and devices we cannot accept returns on any equipment where the manufacturer’s or supplier’s packaging has been opened.


CPAP Masks: carry a 90 days warranty against manufacturing defects from date of purchase. If you feel you have a defective product, please call us to arrange for the return. Once we have received the product and it is determined to be a manufacturer’s defect, we will then exchange the defective mask with a brand new mask.



All of our CPAP products are new and direct from the manufacturer.
We ALSO sell refurbished equipment.



Shipping:  We use the USPS and UPS to ship products.


Payment:  We accept most major credit cards (MC, Visa).  We will accept your personal check and then mail your product when the check has cleared.


Physician’s Orders:  You may be required to provide a physician’s prescription for product(s).  This can be provided via email, fax, or mail.


Did You Order an Item By Mistake?
If you placed an order by mistake or would like to return an item for any reason, you may do so within 30-days of purchase as long as the manufacturer’s packaging has not been opened or damaged and the item is returned in salable condition. Once your item has been received at our offices, inspected and approved for return we’ll approve a refund of the original purchase price of the item, minus a 15% restocking fee. Shipping costs are not refundable.


How Are Refunds Issued?
In most cases refunds are issued directly back to the original payment account. If you would prefer a refund issued as a store credit, towards future purchases, just let us know and we can arrange that too. In situations where a refund cannot be processed directly to the original payment account, for instance if the account was closed after the original order was placed, a refund can be offered by check. Refunds issued by check incur a 5% service fee in addition to any standard restocking fees.



Do You Have a Question About Warranties?
Most of the products we sell are covered by standard manufacturer’s warranties. Warranty periods and conditions vary from product to product and manufacturer to manufacturer; in general though the standard warranty period on CPAP/BiPAP parts and supplies is 30-days, the warranty period on CPAP/BiPAP masks is 90-days, and the warranty period on CPAP/BiPAP machines and portable oxygen concentrators is 2-years or more. If you are unsure of what warranty is offered on the product you are purchasing please let us know and we’ll be happy to provide the information.
If you purchase an item and find that it is defective within the warranty period we will gladly repair or replace it based on the manufacturer’s policies. To arrange a warranty repair or replacement please contact us. Shipping charges may apply on select warranty issues.



Did You Receive an Incorrect Item?
If you receive an incorrect item in any order due to an error on our part we will replace it without additional charge. Please contact us within 7-days of receipt of incorrect items to arrange replacement.







What Shipping Services Does Respiratory & Sleep Solutions Offer?
We offer shipping via the United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). When you place your order by calling us at 800-576-7798 you’ll be able to select your preferred method of shipment. Shipping options may be limited on some orders depending on weight and/or value.



United States Postal Service (USPS) Information
The US Postal Service ships to most physical (street) addresses and all PO Boxes within the United States, US Territories and Canada. Respiratory & Sleep Solutions Clinic offers USPS shipping at service levels with prices starting at $7.25.

Respiratory & Sleep Solutions offers Free Ground Shipping on all orders over $96 shipping to addresses in the United States, US Territories, or US Military APO/FPO Addresses. When free shipping qualifies, packages may be shipped via UPS or USPS at our discretion.



Can I Track My Shipment Online?
When your order ships we will send you an email with shipping confirmation and a tracking number. Please add our email address RSSLLC@USA.NET to your address book to ensure our emails get through to you. Packages can be tracked directly at UPS.COM or USPS.COM depending on the service used in shipment.



How Do I Place an Order For Canadian Delivery?
Due to agreements with some of our manufacturers, we require that all orders for Canadian delivery be placed through a member of our phone service team. Please call 406-493-0025 to place an order for Canadian delivery. All Canadian orders are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority International Mail. We charge an extra $20 on top of standard shipping fees for all Canadian orders. For orders over $99 Canadian shipping would be a flat rate of $20. Some products, including all ResMed products, cannot be shipped to Canada.

While most shipments to Canada arrive at their destinations within 6-8 days of shipment without any additional charges, fees or delays; Respiratory & Sleep Solutions Clinic CANNOT predict, and has no control over, Canadian Customs. All shipments to Canada are clearly marked as medical supplies. If import duties or delays are imposed by Canadian authorities those charges are the customer’s responsibility and cannot be reimbursed by Respiratory & Sleep Solutions Clinic.

UPS offers deliveries at all service levels 5 days a week. Delivery on Saturdays is NOT offered as a standard service but can be arranged, in most cases, for an additional fee. Please call Respiratory & Sleep Solutions Clinic if you would like to place an order for Saturday delivery with UPS. Sunday delivery is not available.

UPS calculates package transit times based on a 5-day shipping week. Therefore a package shipped on Friday via 3 Day Select will be delivered on Wednesday and a package shipped on Friday via Next Day Air will be delivered on Monday. Please take this into account when making your shipping decisions.





Please Read carefully (excluding international orders). Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classify CPAP/Bi-PAP/Bi-Level machines, complete assembled CPAP masks and humidifiers as Class II Medical Devices that require a copy of the prescription be on file prior to shipping your order to any U.S. address (Please Note: You may order prior to submitting your prescription, it will ship once we have your RX on file). If you do not have a copy of your CPAP prescription, do not worry- because you still have many options! Read options below.

Items that DO NOT require a copy of prescription:
• CPAP Masks without headgear: These include everything except the headgear straps (remember you can add the headgear to make a complete CPAP mask)
• CPAP Mask Parts: Cushions, Headgear, Accessories
• CPAP Machine Parts: CPAP Hose/Tubing, Filters, Water Chambers, Parts, etc.
• Comfort Items: Tube covers, moisturizers, comfort pads or liners, etc.



Items that DO require a copy of prescription before your order can ship:
• Sleep Therapy Devices: CPAP machines, BiPAP machines, Portable Oxygen Concentrators, etc. Don’t have a prescription for a CPAP machine? Give us a call, we can help you out.
• Humidifiers: Heated CPAP and BiPAP Humidifiers.
• Complete Assembled CPAP Masks: All CPAP and BiPAP masks that are fully assembled and labeled RX required.
