How does the SoClean work?

The SoClean uses activated oxygen to eliminate any CPAP bacteria, germs, and other pathogens that may be lingering in your CPAP system.

The inside chamber was designed specifically so that multiple mask types can be used within the SoClean unit, from nasal pillow masks to full CPAP masks.

Do you have a heated hose for the ResMed S9, Philips Respironics, Fisher & Paykel ICON™, or a Fisher & Paykel 600 series? You will need an adapter for SoClean to work.

SoClean uses a universal fitting to integrate into an array of CPAP models. Some CPAP models that use a heated hose will need an adapter to maintain the heated hose function. #PN1207 Cartridge Filter Kit – SoClean 2 Replacement Cartridge Filter and Check Valve Assembly for SoClean 2

This Cartridge Filter Kit includes one replacement filter and one replacement check valve for the SoClean 2. The filter and check valve should be replaced every six months. This kit is suitable for all SoClean machines with “1200SC” in the serial number.

The Cartridge Filter converts activated oxygen back to regular oxygen as it leaves the SoClean 2 chamber. The check valve prevents water from your CPAP from damaging your CPAP electronics.

Check Valve Assembly -Replacement Check Valve Assembly

The SoClean Check Valve Assembly prevents water from rising back up your injection hose and damaging the electronics inside your SoClean. Please note: If you purchased the SoClean before Mid-March 2013, you may have a single check valve. The check valve assembly is the current replacement for single check valves and/or double check valves alike.

The Check Valve is compatible with all SoClean models.

The SoClean comes with a check valve assembly pre-installed. It is important to replace the check valve immediately if you see water in the clear tube. We also recommended you replace the check valve and the filter every six months as a preventative measure.
